So, a few weeks ago my first Open University course came to an end; I was doing this introductory course, which...well, I enjoyed some parts of it and really didn't like others, but I think that's quite normal for such a wide-ranging introductory course. For a little at the end of it, I didn't think I wanted to continue studying, but now I've pepped up on it a bit and I've registered for a creative writing course, mostly to kick my own butt in taking my writing seriously.

Then I followed a link to "short courses you might like" and they popped this one up; how cool is that? I don't think I'll register for it now, as starting two courses and NaNoWriMo around the same time seems really unwise, but next year I am totally signing up.

I hope that course is actually cool and not "boring programming with a bit of philosophy thrown in". Then again it's only a mini one, so it's probably worth a look.

I can't decide if I should do the Shakespeare course next year or a French one. I'm definitely going to take a break from Classics and use the free-sixty-points-on-any-subject option, but... which option? GAH.
